Protein and peptide biomarkers provide critical, actionable insight for detecting, diagnosing, and monitoring disease. Pathmaker Bio is developing a novel, patented class of molecules, Conversomes(™), that are designed to uniquely recognize individual amino acids along with their post-translational modifications (PTMs). When combined with our proprietary chemistry, these molecules enable quantitative detection of protein panels and can be used to generate on-demand “synthetic antibodies” i.e, custom affinity reagents targeting any protein, peptide, or specific region of a biomarker. The Pathmaker workflow is designed as a simple benchtop process that leverages widely accessible DNA analysis platforms such as qPCR and NGS.
